Start with one question

Ask someone:Why Taiwan?

Almost everyone who has experienced Taiwan has a story. You probably know someone who does.

Think of one person. Ask the question. Give them an easy way to share what comes next.

Ask one person. Hear one story. Pass the question on.

WHY THIS PROJECT

A passion project, not a company.

WhyTaiwan? is an independent passion project and concept test, not a company. The goal is to build a richer, more human picture of Taiwan from real lived experiences, not to collect stories to sell participant data.

Each story matters on its own. Over time, recurring themes, challenges and positive experiences may also help us understand how people experience Taiwan and make those experiences more visible and useful. If the concept proves useful, the long-term hope is to grow WhyTaiwan? into a nonprofit.

Why I started it →
Start with someone you know

Who came to mind?

Start with someone you already know.

You asked one person.

That’s how another Taiwan story can begin.

ONE USEFUL INTRODUCTION

Ask an organization

Know someone at a university, company, hotel, tourism organization, event or community group? One introduction is enough. We’ll take it from there.

Would your community be interested in answering one question: Why Taiwan?
HAVE YOUR OWN TAIWAN STORY?

Start with yours, then pass the question on.

OPTIONAL

Want to do more?

Rather share WhyTaiwan itself?

“

One question. One story. One more perspective.

Pass it on.
START WITH ONE PERSON

Who would you ask:
Why Taiwan?

A friend. A colleague. A classmate. Someone who visited once. Someone who came for six months and stayed for six years.

One question can lead to another story.
